Current high school Girl Scouts got a taste for what it would be like to meet their moment at CU Denver on Friday, Feb. 28. The prospective students from across Colorado, joined by their families, visited CU Denver for a day to learn more about the university, take a campus tour, hear from several leaders in the Division of Strategic Enrollment and Student Success (SESS), and snap photos with Milo.
The Girl Scouts represent CU Denver’s new partnership with Girl Scouts of Colorado, which guarantees admission for Girl Scouts who receive their Gold Award—the highest honor that recognizes community service—and meet certain criteria. The Girl Scouts were all smiles as they experienced what it would be like to attend CU Denver.
