
CU Denver Ranked No. 1 for Social Mobility by U.S. News and World Report Three Years in a Row
For the third consecutive year, the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is ranked No. 1 in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region for improving students’ social mobility through higher education, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2023 rankings.
CU Denver students are not just graduating; they are also moving on to meaningful and in-demand occupations in the professions of their choosing. And, because of the unique hands-on opportunities that come from being in downtown Denver, they out earn their peers over the course their careers—from landing their first dream job and launching their own business to building successful careers over time.

The U.S. News & World Report rankings comes on the heels of being ranked No. 1 in Colorado and among The Wall Street Journal‘s Best Colleges 2024 list. U.S. News has recently made several changes to their methodology in ranking criteria.
