CU Denver’s Inclusive Excellence Network Kicks Off Another Year of Striving to Make Education Work for All

Participants in the Inclusive Excellence Network (IEN) gathered Tuesday morning to kick off another academic year of aiming to make education work for all. As attendees sipped coffee and ate breakfast burritos in the Terrace Room of the Lawrence Street Center, Chancellor Kenneth T. Christensen and Vice Chancellor for Access and Campus Engagement Antonio Farias addressed the group.  

Chancellor Christensen explained how inclusive efforts, rooted in the public service mission of the university, support CU Denver’s enrollment, retention, and graduation rate goals. Vice Chancellor Farias stressed the importance of bridging and belonging in IEN’s work and CU Denver more broadly. Then, participants took part in a change management workshop designed to help faculty and staff understand and more successfully implement organizational change within their teams.
