CU Denver welcomed a special guest on March 5: CU President Todd Saliman visited campus, meeting with students and employees to learn about university services that support learner success, workforce development, shared governance, academic lab space, and more. Saliman’s visit included a stop at the Lola & Rob Salazar Student Wellness Center, where he had breakfast with leaders of the Student Government Association.
Throughout the day, Saliman met with campus leaders, including executive committee members of the Faculty Assembly, the CU Denver Association of Lecturers and Instructors, and Staff Council.
In addition, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Karen Marrongelle, Vice Chancellor for Strategic Enrollment and Student Success Zina Evans and members of her team, as well as Interim Executive Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Ryan Davis and other members of the Finance and Administration team, shared updates and information on recruitment, retention, and budget initiatives.
In the afternoon, Saliman headed to North Classroom for a tour of CU Denver’s facilities related to its cutting-edge quantum programs.
He also toured LynxConnect, CU Denver’s one-stop shop for career services, internships, undergraduate research, and study abroad. LynxConnect provides students with valuable support in navigating career-building and academic opportunities.
