Things to Know Before You Go

Auraria Campus to Host Outside Days Festival

The Auraria Campus will host this year’s Outside Days Festival from May 29 through 31, with preparations for the event scheduled to begin as early as May 20. The festival, which AHEC scheduled and oversees, is expected to disrupt the flow of traffic to campus, parking availability, pedestrian walkways, and access to some buildings. We expect peak activity around the Tivoli, City Heights, Learning Commons, Student Commons, Wellness Center, and surrounding areas on May 28 and 29. Check AHEC’s dedicated website for more information.

Please note: Several other events are happening in downtown Denver during the same weekend as the festival, including FAN EXPO Denver at the Convention Center, a Harry Potter musical at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, a Rockies game at Coors Field, and potentially an Avalanche playoff game at Ball Arena. If you plan to enjoy the festival or be on campus during this period, we encourage you to give yourself more time to reach your destination.
