Nearly 50 CU Denver faculty were recognized on May 5 for their expertise, passion, and service to students at the annual Faculty Excellence Awards, hosted by the Office of Faculty Affairs at the Lawrence Street Center’s Terrace Room. “We have top-notch faculty at CU Denver who make a great impact, not only for our students, but for our communities, the state, the nation, and even the world,” Chancellor Kenneth T. Christensen said. “We are honored to recognize some of them today.”
Faculty members were nominated and selected by their peers. Eleven individuals and one instructional team received campus-level awards, and 33 individuals were recognized for honors at the school and college level. All are listed below.
