Students didn’t have to go far to get a full carnival experience with hand-drawn caricatures, interactive games, oversized stuffed animal prizes, and more. A room in the Tivoli Student Union transformed for the Aug. 27 Carnival de Lynx, themed “Butterfly of the Planet.” Lynx enjoyed tacos and ice cream, music, and an assortment of activities, including limbo and arcade-style games.
The annual event is part of CU Denver’s lineup of fall welcome activities for new and returning students. In addition to the fun, students could learn about CU Denver’s many student organizations and departments.
