After more than a year of virtual events, Halloween is back and better than ever. If you need ideas for ways to celebrate the spookiest time of the year, we’ve compiled a list of Halloween haunts on and around campus.
Terror in the Tivoli
Come party with zombies to kick off Halloween weekend. Located in the heart of campus, the Tivoli Turnhalle will be hosting a silent disco party with candy, games, and other fun activities. Stop by in between classes!
When: Thursday, Oct. 28, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Candyman Movie Night
If you missed the earlier Halloween events at the Tivoli Turnhalle, no need to worry! Enjoy a showing of the newly released supernatural thriller “Candyman,” directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Jordan Peele. Snack on some treats while you sit on the edge of your seat.
When: Thursday, Oct. 28, 5 p.m.
McGregor Square Scare
A fun-filled Halloween weekend will be happening just a short walk from campus. Located across the street from Coors Field, McGregor Square will host a family-friendly Trick-or-Treat Street with face painting and pumpkin carving followed by an evening showing of “Hocus Pocus” on one of Denver’s largest TV screens. BOOnion Trick or Treating Station
The 7th annual BOOnion Station Trick-or-Treat Parade takes place today, Oct. 28, from 5 – 8 p.m. The free celebration features trick-or-treating, mini train rides, music, face painting, and more. Don’t forget to dress up and participate in the costume contest.
