Host a Zoom Meeting with … Milo!

Since hosting meetings on Zoom has replaced in-person interaction for the foreseeable future, we wanted to come up with a way to help you embrace your Lynx pride, virtually. We created some Zoom backgrounds with a special someone—our beloved Milo! If you’re new to Zoom or need some help downloading the Milo backgrounds, we’ve included instructions for you below.

Using Virtual Background in Zoom (not in meeting)

  1. Drag and paste the images below to your desktop.
  2. Sign in to Zoom desktop client.
  3. Click your profile picture then click Settings.
  4. Click Virtual BackgroundNote: If you do not have the Virtual Background tab and you have enabled it on the web portal, sign out of the Zoom Desktop Client and sign in again.
  5. Add your own image by clicking and choosing if you want to upload an image or video. Select the Milo image you want from your desktop.
  6. To disable Virtual Background, choose the option None.

If promoted, click Download to download the package for virtual background without a green screen.

Using Virtual Background in Zoom (in a meeting)

  1. In a Zoom meeting click the ^ arrow next to Start/Stop Video.
  2. Click Choose a virtual background…
  3. Choose an image or add your own image by clicking and choosing if you want to upload an image or video.
  4. To disable Virtual Background, choose the option None.

Pro Tips:

  • Ensure that you are using a solid background color.
  • After you select an option, that virtual background will display during your meetings.
  • To disable Virtual Background, choose the option None.
