Leaning Into the Future: Systemwide Strategic Planning Process Continues

March 16, 2020

The University of Colorado’s strategic planning process, coined “Leaning Into the Future,” is roughly halfway to completion. The effort began, which kicked off in early summer 2019, is expected to go before the Board of Regents this July and implemented this fall.

The outcome of the strategic plan, a systemwide effort, will not take the place of CU Denver’s strategic priorities. And while engagement with campus constituents has been ongoing, the timeline still provides for significant input from the CU Denver community. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to take part in the shaping of the strategic plan.

Working groups have been formed for the Leaning Into the Future strategic planning process to address nine areas of strategic focus within the plan’s four broad pillars. Each working group has co-chairs and campus leads. See below for the areas of focus and respective contact to email with feedback.
