CU Denver’s Employer Relations team brought together industry recruiters, faculty, and current students to network and learn from one another at the annual Recruiting Kickoff on Aug. 5. The aim was simple: help the workforce of tomorrow and the companies who need their talent better understand each other—for everyone’s benefit. The event was one of many illustrations of CU Denver’s collaboration between higher education and industry.
Attendees gathered for breakfast in Student Commons and attended sessions on topics ranging from AI to navigating neurodiversity in the corporate world. Students, faculty, and employers also toured the Auraria Campus and visited some of CU Denver’s engineering labs. The day’s activities concluded with a session for employers about how to recruit from CU Denver.
