February 3, 2020

Helpful reminders from guest contributor Tony Smith, director of the Experiential Learning Center, one of four offices housed in LynxConnect.

Study Abroad Fair a win with students

Thank you to the more than 400 students who stopped by last week’s Study Abroad Fair! Don’t forget to check out the Study Abroad Office’s website or stop by LynxConnect to get all your resources together for going abroad. Peer advisors and Study Abroad staff are here to help make your destination-meets-education dreams a reality.

Internship and Job Fair will bring 60 employers to campus on February 20

How is your resume looking? Do you need to polish your elevator pitch? Stop by LynxConnect to meet with peer advisors (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or a career counselor/internship advisor. You can learn who these employers are and which positions they will be hiring for here. Register now to receive detailed updates ahead of the event.

Applications now open for Research and Creative Activities Symposium

Taking place on May 1, 2020, in the Student Wellness Center, the Research and Creative Activities Symposium (RaCAS) showcases the research, creative, and other scholarly activities of undergraduates and graduate students. Don’t miss this opportunity to show the campus and mentors your amazing work. Applications are due Wednesday, April 1. You may want to preview the application before submitting.

Remember, the LynxConnect staff always look forward to helping students achieve their goals. See you soon!
