Researchers Invited to CU System’s Town Hall About New Federal Funding Opportunity

May 2, 2023

The CU system, in partnership with its campuses, is hosting a virtual Town Hall from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, to share information about an exciting new federal funding opportunity.

The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) is a new agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. ARPA-H aims to support transformative research to drive biomedical and health breakthroughs, ranging from molecular to societal.

A panel of experts will provide an overview of the new agency and give insights into the agency’s recently issued Open Broad Agency Announcement (Open BAA), which is the name for its funding mechanism. Anyone from the university community interested in learning more is encouraged to attend. Please register with your CU email here.
